The new CD is nearly complete. Andy and I will be going to Chicago to finish the mixing this week and then the record will be sent to West West Side Music to be mastered by Alan Douches . West West Side has such credits as: Thrice, Brand New, From Autumn to Ashes, Recover, Further Seems Forever, Run DMC, Cave In and most importantly Dillinger Escape Plan. We are all very excited to hear the finished project. To tide everyone over, we have posted a sampler of a few of the songs on the album. Give it a listen!

Thanks so much to everyone that came out to the show at the Metro. We
were honestly surprised at how many people came for us on such short notice
and being that it was probably a long drive! Thanks again! Our good
friend Chris McCabe has been cool enough to start a street team for us in the
Chicagoland area. To join, all you need to do is email
and he will take care of everything for ya.
Soon, we will have demo CDs, stickers, fliers, etc. to have people pass out.
Thanks to everyone that has joined so far. We never dreamed we'd have a street
team let alone people that actually DID stuff for it!!!

So the album is done being recorded and we're quite happy with the way
it has turned out. Also, the show at the Fireside was probably one of the best shows we've ever gotten to play. Thanks to everyone that came out and liked us even though you had never heard of us! We're extremely thankful to Bryan, Dan and Chuck at British Records for giving us the opportunity to have so much studio time with a great producer. We absolutely couldn't have done it without them. In other words, we just got added to a show at the METRO in Chicago on Thursday, September 4th with the Red Hot Valentines, University, and Midwest Blue. Words can't describe how excited we are about this. Thanks
Bryan and Dan (manager of RHV) for getting us on the show. We've wanted to
play there for YEARS!!! You can print out a ticket for the show and go
for free if you arrive before 6:30pm: PRINT THIS TICKET TO GET IN FOR FREEEEE!

Yo everyone. We are still in the studio right now and are having a great
time. We get to party every night with Vote Toby and record all day
with Lance Reynolds who is quite a cool dude. We just got word recently
that we will be playing the FIRESIDE BOWL in CHICAGO on Saturday, August 16th with Allister (Drive Thru) and August Premier (Fueled By Ramen). The show
should be quite huge, especially for us. We're really stoked about the
show. Thanks to Bryan for getting us on!

Things have been pretty laid back lately for us since we are trying
to get ourselves ready to record in a couple weeks. We've only been
playing shows close in our area. Thanks to everybody that came out
on July 18th to the Jacksonville show! We know the CB club is a shithole,
but we really appreciate you guys putting up with it! We're playing
a huge Jacksonville show on AUGUST 1st WITH PARK, 8MFD, LAST WORDS,
AND FAREWELL TO TWILIGHT AT THE AMVETS. Everyone needs to go. We will most likely be leaving DIRECTLY after the show to head to chicago to record for 3 weeks. Our recording plans are finally definite. We are recording at Dam
Recording Studio and Lance Reynolds (NIL8, Alkaline Trio, Braid) will be
the producer. Thanks for everyone's support. Click here to check out the studio.

The show on April 11th in Jacksonville was awesome. All the bands were great and the crowd was great as usual. Thanks to all of you that came from the surrounding areas like Quincy and Springfield. The Junior Varsity played in its first battle of the bands on Saturday with eight bands and won. We have another battle of the bands coming up and hopefully we can do the same and bring our record to 2-0.

We have lots more shows posted as well new pictures. In other news, Asa broke his arm last week. Since it's his right arm, he can still play the bass thankfully! If you care to know how Asa broke his arm, email him and ask him. (It's on the contact page)

Well we played our first Chicago show in this band's existence. We pay 40 dollars in gas to get there. We make a good ammount of wrong turns in Chicago which turns the trip into 5 hours instead of 4. We finally find the place and are immediately told we have to pay 8 dollars just to park there and we're in the band. Later, we have to pay another 8 dollars because of our trailer. So now, we're out 56 dollars. We go on stage and play for about an hour before the people are thoroughly sick of us and are making very rude comments to us. We go to load out and some people apparently called the cops on the bands for loading in near their garage so we have to cart all of our stuff through the middle of this bar to the front door and load right on some busy street in Chicago. We then go to see how much money we can get for the night. Nobody seems to have any money to pay us. Wonderful. We get in the van and leave this joke of a venue. We then pay another 40 dollars in gas. That was our experience in Chicago. Some people call it paying your dues but theres no reason a band should drive a total of 10 hours to lose over 100 dollars and to make no fans at all. I guess this is a lesson to everyone. Be careful and don't let people fuck you over. By the way, the venue is Coyles Tippling House but I'm pretty positive they didn't have anything to do with it. It was some sort of mysterious management company and a man by name of "Fabian" that nobody seemed to know much about. Beware of shit like this.

Hey everyone. We haven't updated for a while because we have not had too much exciting news to post! Our recording plans have been changed. It is not certain what studio we'll be at but we will be produced by Jeremy Du Bois (Dashboard Confessional, Duvall, Seville, New Found Glory). He should do some amazing things for us. We are still trying to book our tour and should have many dates for May coming up soon. Keep checking back! We have a new page up on the St. Louis Punk Page. Go check it out to post some comments about us and see some different pictures.
